AROUND THE CAMP AREA
This camp area is huge and has many different camping zones. There are facilities for you to bake or make a pizza. You can even hands on using the Hobo Burner Hot Water if you need to take a hot shower. Due to heavy rain on the night we camp, we were not able to do much.

On a good day, sea of clouds can be viewed from the viewing platform. Come early and pick a good camping spot. Between April and May there will be fireflies in the night. Around the camp there is a duck pond and goats.

If you prefer, they do have rooms available. There are tents for rental, sleeping bag, mattress, tables and chairs. Click this link for more.

Indeed is a recreation park, basically you just walk and walk and view the nature. Most of the path have been paved so kids and elderly could just do it. We did not camp but stayed in the hostel instead.

Accommodation - Youth Centre
Room - 7/10 wooden flooring no beds but bedding provided
Food - 6/10 nothing fantastic
Service - 6/10 no room service but counter was helpful
Room package of 8 included dinner and breakfast cost around NTD3500

Activity - 20km of so call "Hiking".

We arrived this campsite rather late in the evening, there was no one around the area so we decided to take a peek. The camp site is rather big however the sad thing we notice at that time was a recycle building in the area. It seems the owner leased out part of his land for other usage.

玉山國家公園 YuShan National Park Centre

One of the most beautiful places in Taiwan. Camping around YuShan National Park is prohitbitted unless you are planning to hike into the magestic landscape which requires pre-arranged permits.

The Park center is located at Tataka which sits at 2610mtrs high. Somehow there are still people pitching up their tents around the carparks. We decided to take the liberty to stop over night at one of the carparks with toilet. This is definitely the best place for star glazing, we were greeted by carpet of stars from heaven! However the nights got too cold when the temperature falls below 10deg C with chill wind starts to blow.
