After 12 days of travelling around Taiwan and sleeping in the van we decided to stop over this camp area. This campsite was not listed on the GPS or any maps, we came upon it when we were leaving Sun Moon Lake. Located at 頭社水庫 Toushe Reservoir, I would say this is one of the best done up private campsite we have seen. Previously a Betel Nut plantation, the owner, Mr Chen who is a retired fireman had decided to transform it into a camping area. Over the years he had made this to be a beautiful 5 star campsite. I was surprise at the fee and told him it was rather high. He later explained to me that the camping fee includes all free usage on the facilities in his area, the kitchen, BBQ, bikes and Karaoke. Oh well...we did spent 2 nights here!!
