Hapen Ancieng Trail is located around Taipei County, Wulai Township, a former hunting ground of the Atayal Tribe also known as Kalamoji Trail 卡拉莫基步道. It can be access from Fu Shan 福山 first bridge crossing.

The trail distance one way to the camp ground is around 10.4Km and expect to get muddy and wet after rain. The camp ground is not huge and is located beside the river but the journey there can be rewarding with flora and fauna as this is a protected area. This will be a great weekend 2D1N camping hiking trip and if you are more adventurous, you can hike all the way to Fu Shan Botanical Garden 福山植物園.

Please check the weather before heading out on this trip as there was a recent incident Oct 2010 (Chinese News), 5 hikers got trap during the wet weather.
