Disaster can happen anytime, if you are the lucky and have time to escape, you should pack along some important stuff with you. Do not panic but focus, you must be physically and mentally prepared. Help yourself before you help others.

當災難發生時交通會跟著混亂，如果有自行車最好，儘可能不要使用汽車或摩托車，因為這兩樣交通工具都需要汽油才能帶你離開災難現場。

In today's Urban society, the most important items everyone carry everyday is a hand phone, keys and a wallet. There are few items recommended to have it with you at all times and you might find it useful in everyday life.

(BOB) Bug Out Bag 急難救助包
This bag can only exist if you have time to pick up and there is no surrounding danger. Before we move to the content of the bag, you must prepare a checklist. This recommended checklist must be placed in this bag. All the items are packed according to the checklist as a KIT.

This kit is a backup kit and it should have enough items to provide you from item 1 to 8. It is a kit we take along during outdoor. This kit should provide you, SHELTER, WATER, FIRE, FIRST AID, REPAIR KIT, SIGNAL, NAVIGATION and FOOD.
求生包中之物品應包含清單中之第1~8項。此包也可在您平時外出露營或郊遊時使用，它可提供您一個有遮蔽的場所以及水、火、急救藥品包、修繕工具、信號、方位與食物。
FIRST AID KIT 急救藥品包
A must have item in the house. Items you need to prepare are bandages, medication and treatment. Can either pack in a First Aid Bag or a Ziploc bag
一個家庭必備的急救包，其中須包含繃帶、消毒藥品與治療藥品。
HYDRATION KIT 結合水
Fill water to the rim of the bottle so that there is no air in between. Write the date filled and store in a dark place. Change water every 3 months. We would prepare 2 x 1.5lts bottle per person. It is better to have a water filtration kit.
找個裝水的瓶子，將水裝滿至瓶子頂部使其無空氣存在避免細菌滋生。在瓶上寫下存水的日期後置放於陰暗處，記住每三個月要換水一次以保水質。每一人應準備約3公升的水。另外最好有一個輕便型的淨水器以防有容器卻沒有水喝。

Not really an important kit but good to keep your hygiene in place.
Toilet paper (very important), disposal towel, cotton bud, hand sanitizer, tooth brush and paste, shaver etc.
衛生用品雖不是很重要但在生活中也是不可缺的，如衛生紙、毛巾、棉花棒、清潔液、牙刷、牙膏、刮鬍刀... 等，視個人需要準備。
HAZARD KIT 安全配備包
After disaster, there will be a lot of dust, decomposed material and debris.
This kit contain face mask, gloves (cotton and latex), goggle and a disposal rain gear.
災難之後常會伴隨發生一些變化，如灰塵過多、分解的物質和碎片等。安全配備包中應準備
口罩、手套（棉質的或乳膠手套），護目鏡及雨具。

UTILITY KIT 實用工具包
This is a gadget kit, tools, lights, radio, batteries, can opener etc. If possible add a solar battery charger for 3A or 2A batteries depending on your gadget. Preferable if 2 sets of rechargeable batteries for each gadget.
實用工具包中可準備多功能工具、燈、收音機、開罐器... 等。如果可以，準備一個太陽能電池充電器，視需要準備幾個3號或2號充電電池供替換使用。

You need something to boil or cook or eat. Can be simple Stainless Steel Cup or a camping pot set. Include oil, salt and pepper. If possible include a camping stove set, preferable multi-fuel stove otherwise a cassette connection where Taiwan use it very common.
在災難過後有一份熱食會讓您稍感舒適，所以需要一個簡單的廚具用品裝備。裝備中包含爐具、烹煮用具與調味品。盡可能的準備一個可燃多種燃料的野營爐，若無法則準備卡式瓦斯爐，因其在台灣的使用非常普遍，瓦斯罐也較易取得。烹煮用具可以是不銹鋼杯或露營炊具，而調味品中油和鹽是不可缺少的。
SHELTER & BEDDING 遮蔽和寢具用品
Can be a tent or a tarp, most important you need either a sleeping bag or a blanket.
帳篷或一個可遮風擋雨的物品是一個臨時安頓的處所，而睡袋或毛毯是必備的。
PERSONAL DOCUMENTS & CERTIFICATION 個人文件和證件(書)等
Store all documents in a waterproof bag and a backup USB thumb drive, make copies of important document such as Birth Certificate. When the world is back in order, you can still prove your identity and worthiness to get back in the society. Also to include family photos
當災難發生時，可能會損壞或遺失我們的重要文件或因時間匆忙而無法即時帶走，而事後的善後因缺少文件也增加其困難度，因此事前的準備可幫助您減少類似的麻煩：可將個人重要文件和證書等放在防水袋中，另外將其掃描後儲存於隨身碟中，當混亂過後，因您的事前準備可省去不少時間和精力。還包括家人的照片

RATION 食品
Have a bag or plastic bag standby. Throw all the ration you can find in the house in this bag. You can use this bag for ration gathering after the disaster. If you do not have ration in the house, try stock some instant noodle or canned food. There is no point buying disaster ration when you do not even use it and waiting for it to expire.
準備一個袋子，當災難發生時將眼所及之食品放在袋中拿走。也可儲存一些平時便可食用的食物，如泡麵、餅乾或罐頭食品等。這些食品平時皆可食用，也可隨時遞補更新，無須去購買一個所謂的災難口糧包放著直到過期！
CLOTHES衣物
2 sets of clothes including gloves, socks and head gear but preferable a Shemagh. You can place your old clothes but preferable long pants and long sleeves which can keep you warm.
準備兩套換洗衣物，其中包含手套、襪子與帽子(或是像阿拉伯的大方巾"shemagh"，可充當圍巾、頭巾或披肩)。準備的衣物建議是可讓您保暖的長袖衣褲。
Which BOB is good?
Expert recommended a waterproof bag but not many would want to buy such an expensive bag. So what kind of bag is good for BOB. Ideally a backpack, otherwise a sling bag. One suggestion is to use a trash bag and place inside the bag, that will somehow provide some waterproof for your content in the bag. Try to keep this bag below 10kg, 3lts of water will weigh 3kg. Get a bigger bag, having a bag with more space rather than no space.
哪種急難救助包好？
專家建議使用防水袋，但不是很多人願意買這麼昂貴的袋子。那麼什麼樣的包能拿來當急難救助包呢？理想的包是背包或側背包。如何有一個防水的急難救助包呢？您可將物品放入垃圾袋中再放入背包裡，這多少會為您提供一些防水的功能。背包重量儘量少於10公斤，因為3公升的水已有 3公斤的重量。

Some questions asked if you are at work and BOB is at home, should you prepare both?
The answer is you can prepare 2 BOB or just have one stored in your vehicle. BOB is only good if you have time to evacuate, however if you have your EDC or a Survival Kit with you at all times, you can survive and savage items along the way.

當事情發生時，政府無論如何都會盡全力幫助人民撤離。但以日本所發生的危機為例，政府規劃的8個疏散中心卻有5個毀於海嘯，其規劃的路線中有無數的撤離者被毀於建築物中（訊息來自新聞媒體）。並不是政府未規劃好，而是政府不夠了解當地的地理環境。最好的撤離路線是您對週遭地理環境的詳細了解並將撤離路線牢記於心，因為這會是一條將您與家人帶至平安的路線。
