Been to this park couple of times, if I remembered correctly it was opened in 2006. Nothing really special about it unless you are into wood art and rocks. There is a path that leads down to the shoreline to view those rocks.
Camping is possible here, I once met a young French guy at Siaoyeliou 小野柳露營 and he told me the campsite was expensive. I have to agree if you are camping alone at Siaoyeliou 小野柳露營 so I suggested him to head over to 伽路蘭遊憩區 Jialulan Leisure Park. The young guy was planning to walk around Taiwan in 30 days!!!
Anyway there are artist wood shades available if you prefer to pitch your tent under a roof. It is a very clean park with toilet but no shower, drinking cooler and drink vending machine are available. Should be a safe place to camp because we saw police petrol in the middle of the night as this is one of their checkpoint.
